Around the Clock Care is proud to help clients with support coordination, including but not limited to finding the best and most appropriate funded supports for each situation, building an informal support network, and helping clients contribute to your community. Utilising a consultative approach, we speak to you about what’s working and what isn’t to make sure the results are to your best liking. We can take care of support connection (building your ability to find supports independently), support coordination (helping you understand your plan and its aims, and link you to funded supports), and specialist support coordination (undertaking more hands-on assistance for clients with more complex needs).
Our Support Coordination service includes:- Finding appropriate funded, mainstream, informal and community supports for you
- Building your capacity to choose your own supports with confidence and freedom
- Building your capacity to research and navigate the NDIS
- Having conversations with you about what works and what’s best for your situation
- Helping you with the overall implementation of your plan
Around the Clock Care will help you with personal activities, including supervising and helping you become autonomous within your daily life. This service can be provided in the comfort of a client’s home, including if you are living with relatives, or away from home, such as at an education provider, on a holiday, or during recreational activities. The goal of facilitating personal activities for clients is to help improve your autonomy and independence, allowing you to free their focus and energy to pursue their own goals, objectives and aspirations.
Our Personal Activities service includes:- Assisting with personal hygiene such as dressing, grooming, functional mobility and showering
- Helping with eating and drinking
- Taking care of some housework such as cleaning or laundry
- Attending appointments with you while providing assistance
- Basic first aid
- Offering an overnight carer when needed
We are passionate about helping clients become valued, active participants in their community. Community participation is known to have many benefits, including improving mental health and assisting with employment and education, as well as longer-term benefits such as reducing support costs. Our caregivers will encourage, accompany and support clients with social and community activities and events, aiming to help you build and maintain long-term relationships within your social circle.
Our Community Participation Service can include:- Supporting you to join community events and find social recreational activities
- Encouraging and assisting you to visit libraries, attend concerts and go to sporting events
- Attending appointments with you while providing assistance
- Supporting you with personal development courses such as an art class
- Other kinds of community activities
The professional therapeutic staff at Around the Clock Care offer therapeutic support including counselling, psychology, exercise therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other related assistance. We aim to provide an accurate and timely assessment of each client, allowing them to better understand which supports and additional therapy would be most beneficial to their situation. We are particularly cognisant of and capable in nurturing mental health, and our personal, consultative treatment incorporates personal discussion where the caregiver will help the client identify areas of passion and interest to promote their mental wellbeing.
The Therapeutic Support service includes:- Individual counselling and support with psychology, mental health, and general wellbeing
- Physical therapy including exercise, mobility assistance, and preventive advice
- Personal discussions and assistance on life satisfaction, social and living skills, and daily activities and habits
- Individual, personal and custom support for each client
- Linking and connecting the client to other therapeutic support where needed
We are keen to help our clients develop, improve and learn key life skills, including but not limited to general life skills, individual and interpersonal skills, and academic and educational skills. This is a particularly important service to develop autonomy, self-esteem and happiness, as clients who develop self-sufficiency and believe they are continually improving usually report higher levels of satisfaction in each of these categories. We can help you in specific areas including nutrition, hygiene, public transport, general health, communication, conflict resolution, financial literacy, and many others. We can also help you by developing more strategic, high-level plans, focusing on coaching and developing soft skills and interpersonal skills that will allow the client to find employment, maintain community involvement, and lead an autonomous, satisfying life. Finally, if you are a carer for someone living with a disability, we can also provide first-class training and guidance on how to best support your loved one.
The Development of Life Skills service can include:- Developing personal hygiene, which includes self-care as well as oral and dental hygiene
- Teaching you to shop for and prepare healthy, edible meals
- Coaching public transport skills, including planning routes and communicating with drivers
- Developing house and chore skills such as cleaning, laundry and house maintenance
- Developing financial skills such as managing a budget and a bank account
- Guiding relatives and friends on how to best care for someone with a disability
Around the Clock Care assists clients with daily tasks in a shared living arrangement, both permanently and temporarily. For example, clients in an aged care facility or living with a host family will benefit from this service. The focus of this service is to help clients develop autonomy and confidence in the shared living environment, including by coaching and assisting with daily tasks such as cleaning, personal hygiene, housework, and cooking. The service also involves more high-level support, such as preparing and maintaining a daily routine, enabling greater comfort and security inside the home.
The Daily Tasks / Shared Living service includes:- Assisting you with personal hygiene including showering, bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene
- Helping you with household chores and tasks such as cleaning
- Supporting your daily routines and helping you get ready for the day
- Supporting you at appointments and helping you travel to and from them
- Assisting you with meals, fitness and health
- Offering an overnight carer when needed

This service involves professional advisory services, connecting you with supports and peers, individual skill development, and assistance with lifestyle habits and decision-making. A key focus of this service is helping the client establish themselves as an active, valued community participant. Overall, this service aims to help clients develop their independence and self-confidence, allowing them to continue to engage with the community on their own.
The Assistance with Life Stage Transitions service includes:- Assisting with self-development, including interpersonal and social skills, daily life skills, and positive thinking
- Helping with conflict resolution, mediation, and coping strategies
- Connecting you to the right supports, especially with an informal peer and mentor network
- Supporting you with financial advice, including how to manage a budget and a bank account
- Other practical and necessary assistance services for the transition process
Around the Clock Care helps clients with personal activities including recreational activities, social activities, personal hygiene, cleaning, and more. The ultimate aim of this service is to help the client independently continue to maintain their community involvement.
The Innovative Community Participation service includes:- Consulting with you to develop the most optimal plan for your situation

We have specialist personal trainers to assist with the exercise, mobility and general health of people living with disability. In particular, this service can assist clients who are dealing with autism, down syndrome, stroke, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and many other conditions. Our patient, caring staff will treat you with dignity and respect as they help you maintain physical health, and we make sure to recognise and understand your goals and needs before we undertake any activity.
The Exercise and Physical Personal Training service can help you by:- Improving strength, coordination, mobility, balance, and general health
- Assisting with better posture and alignment
- Reducing the chances and effects of mental health issues
- Reducing risks of diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and obesity
- Improving general quality of life
The professional staff at Around the Clock Care will assist the client with household chores, particularly more strenuous tasks that you currently struggle with. Our service covers full cleaning, laundry duties, household chores, some cooking, and other related daily tasks that the client is struggling with.
This service can include:- Cleaning the house, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, and general cleaning
- Drying and folding, and completing laundry for dirty clothes
- Assisting and preparing food that is healthy and appropriate
Around the Clock Care offers a diverse range of safe vehicles to assist clients who struggle to use regular public transport. We can help you travel on a holiday, attend community and social events, go to personal development courses, and attend any other activity where travel is more difficult. Our vehicles are designed to keep safety at the highest level and our drivers are all carefully selected for their patient and safe driving natures.
The Around the Clock Care staff can help you both in person and over the phone with translation and interpretation services. It can be difficult dealing with a disability when you do not speak English confidently, so we are committed to making sure you feel safe and valued. We also offer additional training and communication assistance to help you eventually become confident enough to communicate independently.
